The Mayflower Club is a South coast based social group of Transvestites, Transsexuals and wives/partners
of the these lovely ladies. They were founded in Southampton and still have several meetings a month in
that area. They are not affiliated to any other group, but maintain friendly relations with them as well as
local councils, police and other official bodies.
I had the honour to run the Brighton meeting for this lovely group of ladies from August 2002{inaugural
meeting) until my move north to Lancashire in September 2004. The meeting was then run by two lovely,
friendly and extremely gracious girls called Gill and Katherine. Gill's link in on my other links page. If you
would like to come along do please feel free to do so. They offered a very friendly and supportive
atmosphere, though they are not a qualified to give advice on medical issues. What they do offer is your
total acceptance and respect for your right to be out and about dressed as you wish. The Mayflower runs
many events on the South Coast of England through the year, at various locations, do contact them for full
details. I will only be describing the Brighton meeting here.
The Brighton meeting of the coven (oops group)used to meet every 1st Thursday in the month at The
Harlequin in Brighton. Brighton is quite a friendly city for Tvs/Ts and their partner to visit so please do
come down and see what is on offer.
I also organise other ad-hoc events from time to time which I advertise on the Internet in various TV
groups. These can range from a sit down meal in a friendly atmosphere followed by a disco or clubbing
experience down to a straightforward pub crawl to friendly venues. On these occasions there is no charge
for the event, as you pay all costs for yourself, IE meal, wines, club entrance fees etc. I merely act as a
guide/hostess for the evening.
Below is a picture taken in February 2003 at the Harlequin when a free photography session was arranged.
